CLINICAL IN FORMATION A case of rules out PCL and PLC injury. FINDING: ACL and PCL There is complete tear of PCL at mid portion. There is normal size. algnment and signal intensity of ACL. No bone marrow contusionis seen. Medial Femorotibial Compartment Medial meniscus shows nomal contour and signal intensity. The medial collateral ligamentous complex is intact. The articular cartilage is unremarkable. No subchondral marrow edema is observed. Lateral Femorotibial Compartment Lateral meniscus shoes nomal contour and signal intensity.Popliteustendinosisis seen The iliotibial band . LCL and biceps femoris tendon are unremarkable.The articular cartilage is unremarkable.no subchondral marrow edema is observed. Patellofemoral Compartment Patella is in normal position. There is no catilaginous loss or subchondral marrow edema. The quadriceps,patellar tendon and patellar retinaculum show no ab nomal signal intensity. Other Small amount of joint effusion is seen. No osteochondral body is detected. The visualized muscles,popliteal vessels, tibial and common peroneal nerves are unremarkable. ACL AND PCL
Grade I ligametous sprain of ACL
PCL shows normal contour and signal intensity. A 1.3x1.4x1.0 cm lobulated cyst,
abutting posterior fibers of distal PCL tibial attachment.

Medial Tibiofemoral Compartment
Medial meniscus show normal contour and signal intensity. No parameniscal cyst is noted.
Intact medial collateral liagamentous complex (MCL)
The articular cartillage of medial femoral condyle and medial tibial plateau appear within normal limits.

Lateral Tibiofemoral compartment
Horizontal tear of lateral meniscuc from body to posterior horn involving superior surface.
No parameniscal cyst is noted.
There is grade I ligamentous sprain of lateral collateral ligament at proximal attachement.
Popliteus tendinosis is noted.
The iliobial band and biceps femoris show normal size and signal intensity.
The articular cartilage of lateral femoral condyle and lateral tibial plateau appear within normal limits.

Patellofemoral Compartment
Patella is in normal position. The articular cartilage of patella and femoral trochiea appear within normal limits.
The quadriceps and patellar tendons and patellar retinaculae show normal size and signal intensity.

Others
No significant know joint effusion is noted. No osteochondral fracture or osteochondral body. Grade I muscle
strain of popliteus and vastusmedialis muscles. The popliteal vessels, tibial nerve and common peroneal nerve
are intact. Multiple varicose veins at anterior aspect of knee.

Impression
-Horizontail teat of laterial meniscus from body to posterior horn involving superior surface. No parameniscal cyst.
-Grade I ligametous sprain of ACL
- A1.3x1.4x1. cm lobulated cyst, abutting posterior fibers of distal PCL tibial attachment, possibly ganglion cyst.
- Grade I ligamentous sprain of lateral collateral ligament (LCL) at proximal attachment
-Popliteus tendinosis
- Grade I muscle strain of popliteus and vastusmedials muscles.
- Multiple varicose veins at anterior aspect of knee
